Ten years ago, Westside Reformed Church began as a small church plant in Cincinnati’s westside. Having grown and planted two churches, they are now preparing to move into their first building, located in the heart of Cincinnati. They have changed their name to Ascension Reformed Church and need external support for renovations. RMS has partnered with them to help raise that support!
We are thrilled to share exciting progress on our building initiative at Ascension Reformed Church, formerly known as Westside Reformed Church. Over the past couple of years, we have been diligently working towards our goal, and we have some significant updates to share.
Property Acquisition
We are now proud owners of a beautiful property, thanks to God's provision and the generosity of the congregation that entrusted it to us. We plan to move into this new property in 2025 after completing necessary renovations and repairs.
Name Change
As part of our fresh start, we have changed our name to Ascension Reformed Church. While our new website, AscensionReformed.org, is under development, you can still find updates at WestsideReformed.org.
Key Updates
Demolition and Playground Creation: We will be demolishing an unnecessary school building at the back of the property. This decision will save costs and create space for a children’s playground and outdoor seating area.
Asbestos Removal and Modernization: We discovered that the ceiling in our fellowship hall contains asbestos. To ensure safety and modernize our facility, we will remove the asbestos, update the ductwork, electrical systems, and lighting.
Financial Position and Support
We are currently working with our architectural firm and will soon hire a general contractor to finalize the costs of the necessary repairs. We ask for your prayers and support for our capital campaign. Contributions can be made here.

PRAY for WRC and their presence in Cincinnati. Pray that this building will allow them to continue to serve God where He has placed them.
