RMS has been working in Cusco and the surrounding villages since 2010.  This year we will be working near Cusco, please join us in continuing the work that we have been doing through the local church there. 

November 29:  Arrive in the morning. Visit nearby Inca sites in the afternoon.

November 30: Travel to Lares, visiting a couple of mountain churches along the route offering encouragement to them, seeing the progress made in construction.

December 1: Work on the kitchen at the church in Lares (pouring concrete and constructing a wall)

December 2: Work on the kitchen at the church in Lares (pouring concrete and constructing a wall)

December 3: Attend Combined worship service in Lares with three other churches. Relax in the afternoon, Bible Study at night.

December 4: Work in HuacaHuasi or help with the foundations on a new home for Mama Sylvia Rivera

December 5: Travel to Ollaytaytambo (train station) to travel to the base of Machu Picchu with a stop or two at other Inca ruins. Spend the night in Agua Calientes city.

December 6: Visit Machu Picchu in the morning and return to Cusco in the afternoon. 

December 7: Begin travel back home

We will be staying in the Rivera Home next door to the Church in Cusco. They have two floors available to have separate quarters for men and women. Both floors have hot water for showers. We will have a mixture of North American food as well as some Peruvian delights! We will provide filtered water to drink along with soft drinks, coffee, and tea.
