In the aftermath of a natural disaster, we partner with local churches to evaluate the needs of those affected in their communities and determine how we can best display the compassion of Christ to them. We send teams of volunteers to assist with clean-up and restoration, and we also collect funds to provide to the local church for distribution to the areas of greatest need. See our planned trips here.

Volunteers repair cabinetry in a Houston home damaged in Hurricane Harvey
RMS recruits and mobilizes teams to travel to the areas affected by natural disasters. We work in and through the local church located in the heart of the disaster area. Disaster Response provides opportunities not only to minister to the physical needs of those affected, but it often gives opportunities to minister the gospel to the spiritual needs as well.
To the left is one of the teams that went to Houston to help with restoration after Hurricane Harvey.
RMS is also involved in Disaster Response by publishing needs, collecting and distributing monetary donations through the local churches to those affected as well as to other like-minded denominations and diaconal ministries to be used for the materials and other supplies that are needed after a disaster strikes. If you are interested in donating you can do that on our donation page here.
