2022 Kentucky Trip

This page contains information about the Western Kntucky tornadoes of 2021. If you are looking for ways to help with the recent flooding in Kentucky

please visit THIS PAGE

When tornados went through Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, Georgia, Ohio, and Indiana in December of 2021, the RMS Disaster Response Committee went to work! RMS sent teams to Princeton, KY  in April. We continue to send teams to help with the rebuilding of that area. Our teams have helped these towns that have experienced destruction in a variety of ways. Please pray for our teams and ask that the Lord gives opportunity to not only help with physical needs but that He also continues to provide opportunities to share the Gospel message with the citizens of these towns!

  • We are sending teams down during all of August and the first part of Sept.
  • Teams or individuals can come and go as it works for them. FEEL FREE TO ONLY COME FOR 2 DAYS OR 3 WEEKS!
  • We are staying in a three-bedroom house in Princeton. When this fills up we will explore other options for lodging.
  • There is a campground called Indian Point that some volunteers are staying at.
  • Meals are a mixture of situations. The fridge at the house can be stocked with items for packing a lunch for the jobsite. There will be some meals provided for the group by area churches or cooking groups. Teams will be able to cook in the kitchen. There are also plenty of restaurant choices in Princeton.
  • We will be working on houses that are being built as well as repairs on others. These houses will be at various stages and will require the help of skilled and unskilled workers!
  • We will be doing a variety of work for any skill level!
  • A Disaster Response trailer stocked with all types of tools is there for use!
